A Treasure Hunt for Korean Foods

What Asian cuisine is more fiery than Chinese, heartier than Japanese
and faster to prepare than Indian?
The answer is Korean.
It is a 5,000-year-old cuisine in which some foods, like
Kimchi[pickled vegetable], Bulgogi[Korean BBQ], Bibimbap[mixed rice
with topped with seasoned vegetables], Kalbi[steamed short-ribs], and
Chopchae[noodles with beef and vegetables] are well known to
non-Koreans.
Duluth, little Korea in Atlanta, with a plethora of Korean
restaurants, is the ideal setting for Korean food beginners and health
conscious eaters to try these foods.
Chung Dam, the oldest Korean restaurant in Duluth, where a treasure
hunt for Korean foods reaches a zenith, is second to none when it
comes to high quality healthy Korean foods.
For vegetarians, [Dolsot] Bibimbap, a dish low in calories as well as
cholesterol, is popular in many variations on the menu of Chung Dam.
In a sizzling stone pot, the steamed rice is topped with a variety of
vegetables and meats [seafood, pork-rib, beef-rib and more topping
options provided], which are mixed together before being eaten. To
enrich and bind the ingredients, a fried egg perches on top and spicy
red pepper sauce is drizzled onto the casserole.
Meat fanatics can get hooked on Bugogi, slender slices of beef
marinated in sweet soy sauce along with pear and kiwi to make the meat
tender and bring special flavor, which Chung Dam offers. A personal
BBQ table means that you get to see the food being cooked right in
front of you.
Reviews made by frequent diners or new adventurers differ widely, but
nobody raises an objection when it comes to the 3S's, the Chung Dam's
customer care motto.
“We offer fewer calories and a wide variety of smarter food choices,
ranging from Korean cuisine to Japanese Sushi such as California Roll,
Dragon Roll, Tropicano Roll, Chung Dam Roll and more.” said Joseph An,
president of Chung Dam. “3S's-Salivate, Service, and Sanitation- are
our top priorities for customer care.”
Joey Vos of Duluth, a new adventurer of Korean cuisine at Chung Dam
said, "I have never had the occasion to Korean food trial. One of my
Korean colleagues invited me to this Korean cuisine paradise and I got
to be mesmerized by the quality of the meats."
Chung Dam is renowned even in other States and patrons are not limited
only in Atlanta.
"Our love for Korean dishes owes our son who is an army officer
serving in South Korea," said Frank Freeman, a patron from North
Carolina. "Every time we come to Atlanta, we stop here. Kalbi and
Sushi get two thumbs up."
Chung Dam regards business travelers as well. They can hold conference
calls or conduct business meetings in spacious meeting rooms with
large TV for presentations and Wi-Fi while having meals with their
colleagues or clients. The conference facilities can accommodate up to
seventy people.
Additionally, Chung Dam celebrates its customers on birthday with the
pleasing “Happy Birthday” song and yummy side dishes such as Hae Mul
Pa Jeon[seafood pancake] which will be on the house.
Sylvia Homer, a frequent diner at Chung Dam, said “The private and
comfy seating in elegant ambience offers me the perfect place to relax
and wind down.”
“The staffs are professional and very attentive,” she added.
